Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Ozyplan for using the Ozyplan website, app and Ozyplan Canvas Sync browser extension (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

Who can use Ozyplan

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Ozyplan.
• If you are under 18 (or under the age of adulthood where you live), you may use Ozyplan only with the permission of a parent or guardian who has read these terms with you. By letting you use it, they agree to these terms for you.
• Ozyplan is for students using it for their own schoolwork. A school or district that wants to use it for its students needs a separate written agreement with us first.

What Ozyplan does

Ozyplan brings your coursework together — from files you upload and, if you choose, from your school's Canvas — keeps it up to date, shows you what changed, and uses AI to read requirements and help you plan and study. AI output can be wrong; see the AI & Academic Disclaimer.

Your account

• Give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at vidyasetu.support@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account.

Connecting Canvas

• Connecting Canvas is optional. The main way is the Ozyplan Canvas Sync extension for Chrome, which asks for your permission before it connects. You can also paste a Canvas calendar feed, or use the advanced fallback on the Import page if your school blocks extensions.
• By connecting, you authorize Ozyplan to read and import the coursework your own signed-in Canvas account can open, for your own use in the Service. This can include your own submission status, score and grade where Canvas shows them to you.
• You are responsible for being authorized to use the Canvas account you connect. Connect only your own account. Do not use Ozyplan to reach content you are not allowed to see, or to circumvent locks, availability dates, or any other access control your school has set.
• The integration is read-only. It never submits, posts, edits, deletes, grades, or otherwise changes anything in Canvas.
• Schools set up Canvas differently. We do not guarantee that every school's Canvas works the same way, or that all of your coursework can be imported — that depends on your school's setup and your own permissions.
• You can disconnect at any time. Disconnecting stops future syncing; it does not by itself delete coursework already imported, which you can delete separately.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload, and the course materials you import stay the property of whoever owns them (usually your teachers or school). You give Ozyplan permission to store, copy, process (including with our AI provider, as the Privacy Policy describes) and display your content only to run the Service for you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that remain for a limited time in logs and backups, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Upload only material you have the right to use, and do not use Ozyplan to share your teachers' materials outside your own account. See the Copyright Policy.

AI features

• Ozyplan uses AI to read coursework, find requirements and deadlines, and write plans, study packs and worked examples. Some of this happens automatically after an import.
• AI output can be incomplete or wrong, and your coursework can itself be out of date. Your teachers, your school and Canvas are the authority on due dates, instructions and grading. Check anything important there before you rely on it.
• AI output is not professional, academic, legal, medical or financial advice.

Academic integrity

Use Ozyplan in line with your school's academic-integrity rules. It is built to help you understand and plan your own work, not to do graded work for you. You are responsible for the work you submit and how you use anything Ozyplan produces. The Service does not submit coursework on your behalf.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• break the law, or use Ozyplan to harm or harass anyone;
• access another person's account or data, or try to get around our limits or security;
• overload, disrupt, or probe the Service for weaknesses without our permission;
• copy, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product; or
• upload anything that infringes someone else's rights or contains malware.

Free features, plan limits and payment

• Creating an account, keeping Canvas in sync, and seeing what changed are free. Free accounts also get a limited number of AI features to try.
• Some features — such as reading new coursework in the background, a step-by-step plan every night, and asking about a task — are part of Ozyplan Pro.
• Active courses — up to 10 at a time, counted across every source. Archiving a course frees a slot without losing its content.
• Automatic analysis — imports and background reading are bounded by rate and cost safeguards, so the amount analysed automatically in any period is limited.
• AI allowances — daily allowances per feature keep the Service fair and affordable. They are shown in the app and may change with notice.

Nothing is for sale right now. Ozyplan Pro is not on sale, no one is charged anything, and we do not collect payment details. Some accounts have been given Pro features at no charge; we may end that with reasonable notice. Before paid plans go on sale, we will update these terms and our Refund Policy and show you the price and conditions before you could buy anything.

Ozyplan's property

The Service — its software, design, text and the Ozyplan name and logo — belongs to Ozyplan. We give you a personal, limited, revocable permission to use it for your own schoolwork while you follow these terms. That is the only right these terms give you in it.

Other companies' services

Ozyplan works alongside services we do not control, including Canvas, Google Chrome and our AI provider. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and changes they make can affect or interrupt Ozyplan. Canvas is a trademark of Instructure, Inc.; Ozyplan is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instructure or by your school.

Service limitations

• We work to keep Ozyplan running and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable, slow, or miss something. We may change, add or remove features.
• If we ever shut Ozyplan down, we will give you notice where we reasonably can, so you can download your data first.
• You remain responsible for your own academic decisions and your work.

Ending your use

You can stop using Ozyplan and delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk; where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.

Disclaimers

We provide Ozyplan "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that its output — including AI output and imported information — is complete or correct. Some places do not allow these disclaimers, so they may not all apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Ozyplan is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as a missed deadline or a lower grade), and our total liability to you for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have under the consumer-protection laws where you live.

Resolving problems

If something goes wrong, please email vidyasetu.support@gmail.com first — most problems can be fixed quickly that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, and applicable federal law, without giving up any protections you have under the laws of the place you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Ozyplan changes; the "Last updated" date above shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Ozyplan after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.
