Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Ozyplan (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

The Service

Ozyplan helps students organize coursework and generates AI-assisted analyses, briefings, forecasts, and study materials from the coursework you provide — whether you upload it yourself or import it from a connected school account. AI output is assistive and may contain errors — see our AI & Academic Disclaimer.

Your account

  • You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and be permitted to use any content you upload.
  • A free account can set up courses, upload and import coursework, and use a limited number of AI features. A paid subscription unlocks continuous syncing and the full daily allowances.

Connecting Canvas and other school accounts

  • Connecting Canvas is optional and requires the Ozyplan Canvas Sync browser extension for Chrome. Ozyplan cannot connect to your Canvas without it.
  • By connecting, you authorize Ozyplan to access and import coursework that your own signed-in account is permitted to open, for your personal academic use in the Service.
  • You are responsible for being authorized to use the account you connect. Do not use the integration to reach content you are not entitled to access, and do not attempt to use it to circumvent locks, availability dates, or any other access control your institution has set.
  • The integration is read-only. It does not submit, post, edit or delete anything in Canvas, and it does not download your grades.
  • Institutions configure Canvas differently. We do not guarantee that every school's Canvas will work identically, or that all of your coursework will be available — what can be imported depends on your school's configuration and your own permissions.
  • You can disconnect at any time. Disconnecting stops future syncing; it does not by itself delete coursework already imported, which you can delete separately.

Subscription & billing

  • Ozyplan Pro costs $9.99/month. Continuous Canvas Sync, automatic background analysis of synced coursework, and the full daily AI allowances require an active subscription.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing page; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change with notice for future periods.

Plan limits and fair use

The Service applies limits so it stays fast and affordable for everyone. These are shown in the app before you subscribe and may be adjusted with notice.

  • Active courses — up to 10 at a time, counted across every source. Archiving a course frees a slot without losing its content.
  • AI usage — daily and starting allowances per feature, listed on the billing page under "Fair use & plan limits".
  • Automatic analysis — imports and background reading are bounded by internal rate and cost safeguards, so the amount analyzed automatically in any period is limited.

Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Service, attempt to bypass usage limits or access controls, or disrupt it.
  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or use the Service unlawfully.
  • Do not use AI output to violate your institution's academic-integrity policies.

Intellectual property

Ozyplan and everything that makes up the Service — its software, design, content, and brand — are owned by Ozyplan and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive only a limited, revocable license to use the Service as intended, and you may not copy, modify, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or use it to build a competing product. You keep ownership of the materials you upload or import. See our Copyright & IP Policy for details.

Service limitations

  • Parts of the Service depend on systems we do not control — your school's Canvas, Chrome, and our AI provider. Changes to any of them can affect or interrupt the integration.
  • AI output can be incomplete or wrong, and imported source material can itself be outdated. Always verify deadlines and requirements against your official course systems.
  • You remain responsible for your own academic decisions, your work, and your submissions. The Service does not submit coursework on your behalf.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ozyplan is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months. AI output is not professional, academic, or advising guidance.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
