Copyright Policy

This page explains who owns what on Ozyplan, what you may upload, and how to tell us if you think something on Ozyplan infringes your copyright.

What belongs to you

You keep ownership of everything you upload or write in Ozyplan. We do not claim ownership of your content. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and show it to you so the Service works, as described in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Upload only material you have the right to use.

Course materials from your school

Coursework you import from Canvas — syllabi, assignment instructions, rubrics, slides, study guides and other course files — is usually written by your teachers or your school, and they keep whatever rights they hold in it. Ozyplan claims no ownership of it, and importing it does not give you ownership either. It is processed only so Ozyplan can organise and explain your own coursework to you, inside your own account.

By connecting Canvas, you confirm you are lawfully entitled to access the material you import. Do not use Ozyplan to pass your teachers' materials to anyone else or to reach content you are not allowed to see. If you are a teacher or school and think your material has been used improperly, email vidyasetu.support@gmail.com and we will look into it.

What belongs to Ozyplan

The Ozyplan software, design, text, and the Ozyplan name and logo belong to Ozyplan. You may use the Service for your own schoolwork, as the Terms describe, but please do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer it, scrape it, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not. Canvas is a trademark of Instructure, Inc.; Ozyplan is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instructure.

Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe material on Ozyplan infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, email vidyasetu.support@gmail.com with:

• a description of the copyrighted work;
• where the material is on Ozyplan (a link or enough detail for us to find it);
• your name and how to contact you;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
• a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, with your physical or electronic signature.

We will review every complete notice, remove or disable access to material where appropriate, and tell the person who uploaded it. If you believe material of yours was removed by mistake, email us with an explanation and we will review it. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others' rights.
